Hillsborough County, Florida-- According to a recent release, the Hillsborough County Extension Service is offering a free Managing Money in Tough Times class to help people learn strategies to take control of their finances.

The class takes place Wednesday, April 25 from 6 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. at the Bruton Memorial Library, 302 McLendon St. in Plant City.

Participants will learn three critical steps to improve finances, practical ways to save on everyday expenses and how to set-up a cash flow management plan.

Economic Gardening is a concept developed to address the needs of growth-oriented small businesses to promote job creation and increase their sustainability.

When horse and rider teams hit the field at Raymond James stadium, they'll face some hefty hurdles. Most jumps are well over five feet high and many also feature very wide spreads.

Hillsborough County, Florida-- This Saturday, April 7, Cracker Country at the Florida State Fairgrounds celebrates the change in the seasons at their 1890's gathering that promises history and fun. 

Kids will play 19th century themed games, such as sack racing, hoop rolling and ring tossing, and also participate in churning butter and making rope- just as children from the 19th century did!

A tour of the rural homes and structures, such as the schoolhouse and blacksmith's workshop, provides education and excitement to all attendees.

Tampa, Florida-- Kevin James takes the stage at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts on April 12.

James is known for his work in the hit television series, King of Queens, and starring roles in the popular movies, Zookeeper (2011), Grown Ups (2010) and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007).

The show begins at 8:00 p.m. in Carol Morsani Hall.
