Tampa, FL – Celebrate the 8th Anniversary of Tampa Bay’s premier Hispanic event, Conga Caliente!

This festival celebrates all Hispanic Arts and cultures from around the world. You will have the chance to experience a variety of national and International performers at Al Lopez Park on Nov. 6 from 11 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Past acts include performances by Cuban, Puerto Rican, Columbian, Panamanian, Argentinean, Uruguayan, Mexican, Spanish, USA or Dominican musical bands.

Two charged in multi-county real estate scam

Tallahassee, FL -- Two men were arrested Thursday for their part in a real estate scam agencies say spanned at least five Tampa area counties in the past three years.

Crucial prosecution witnesses take stand in Kevin White trial

Tampa, Florida - It must have been a strange day in court for former Hillsborough County Commissioner Kevin White; two men who he used to trust testified against him.

Peter Rockefeller took the stand for prosecutors. He's a Tampa towing business owner who worked with the FBI. 

When U.S. Attorney Robert O'Neill asked Rockefeller why he  wore a wire to help make hundreds of hours of secret audio recordings, Rockefeller replied, "I wanted an opportunity for things to be fair."

Hillsborough: Wanted suspect drags deputy during getaway

Tampa, Florida --  A wanted man dragged a Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputy during his attempt to escape arrest.

The Sheriff's Office says Deputy Byron Beasley performed a routine tag check of a 2005 Ford F150 around 1:15 this morning while on patrol.

The driver pulled into a gas station parking lot at Orient Road and Broadway Avenue as the tag number came back, confirming the vehicle belonged to David Solano, wanted on four outstanding felony warrants.

Couple beats man, steals his car

Thonotosassa, FL -- Detectives are searching looking for a couple who held a man at gunpoint and beat him when he tried to fight back and get away.

According to Hillsborough detectives, on Oct. 17, 29-year-old Nicole Bowles and an unknown man met the man in the area of U.S. Highway 301 and Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd.

The man was held at gunpoint and forced to drive the couple north to an area near U.S. Highway 301 and Sligh Avenue where he struggled with the man over the gun.

Hillsborough County, FL -- Starting Sunday, Nov. 13, HART will make modifications to bus service for Routes 1, 2, 8, 12, 15, 18, 30, 34, 37, 39, 46, 96, 97, 27LX to help streamline route schedules, to adjust to ridership trends and for cost-effectiveness.
