Hillsborough County, Florida-- This evening from 6 - 8, the Environmental Protection Commission hosted a workshop to answer the public's questions regarding recently proposed amendments to certain rules.

If you missed it, don't worry; a similar workshop will take place Wednesday, August 1, from 3 - 5 p.m.

Man defrauds over $14,000 in chandeliers in 4 counties

Land O' Lakes, Florida -- Pasco County Sheriff's detectives have arrested a man they say was responsible for defrauding multiple Home Depots stores in four counties.

Detectives say Nicholas Anderson, of Land O' Lakes, went to Home Depot stores over 61 times in Pasco, Hernando, Hillsborough and Pinellas counties and stole chandeliers through ticket-switching.

Hillsborough County, Florida--  Earl Lennard, Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections, announced the delivery of 65,186 domestic Vote By Mail Ballots to the post office yesterday, July 16, 2012. 

Any registered voter may request, receive and cast a Vote By Mail Ballot, as long as the delivery of a Primary Election ballot is requested by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

Man accused of impersonating police officer

Tampa, Florida - Tampa Police have charged a man with impersonating a police officer and asking a woman if she knew where he could buy cocaine.

Investigators say 23-year-old Sandy Johnson pulled alongside a woman who was driving with her kids in the car near 50th street and MLK on Sunday afternoon.

Johnson allegedly asked the woman if she had any or knew where to purchase any cocaine. The victim told the suspect she did not appreciate him asking her that question in front of her children, and drove away.
