• All hazardous liquids are drained and contained. This includes fuel, engine oil, transmission fluid, engine coolant. Refrigerant is recovered if applicable.
• Wheels and tires are separated and can be fully re-purposed or recycled.
• Wiring and electrical parts are all removed and separated for recycling.
• Batteries & catalytic converters are sent to recovery and recycling.
• Non Ferris metal components like those made of aluminum are removed.
• Remaining Ferris metals are sent to a steel re-smelting facility.
