Tampa Yankees Pink Out Night | Sports & Recreation
Tampa, FL – Come out and join the Tampa Yankees on Saturday, May 7, for “Pink Out Night” sponsored by Moffitt Cancer Center and SerenBe Day Spa.
The Tampa Yankees will be playing the Lakeland Flying Tigers at 6 p.m., with the gates opening at 5 p.m.
Players will be wearing custom made pink pinstripe jerseys that will be auctioned during the game. All auction winners will have the opportunity to have their picture taken and jersey signed with the player who wore it at the conclusion of the game.
Proceeds from the jersey sales go to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute.
In addition, fans will have a chance to buy a pink prize balloon for $10. The balloons will contain gift certificates from different businesses in the local Tampa Bay area.
SerenBe Day Spa will be at the game offering short massages to fans before and during the game. They will have portable massage tables set up on the concourse.
There will be a remembrance ceremony in memory of those that has been affected by breast cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game.
This Saturday is Friends and Family Night sponsored by Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo.
A special 4 pack deal is available and includes: 4 reserved tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 bags of chips, 4 sodas, 4 White Tampa Yankees caps and 1 FREE pass to Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo for only $38.
Hats are exclusive to the Family 4-Packs, and there are four different hats which are offered on different Saturday Nights throughout the season.
Kids can run the bases from 5 - 5:15 p.m., and Tampa Yankees players will be signing autographs on the concourse from 5:10 - 5:30 p.m.
There will also be a bounce house and face painter on site, as well as other activities for kids.
Individual tickets are $4 for general admission and $6 for reserved seating and can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Box Office.
