Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation is hosting the 20th Annual Coloplast International Wheelchair Rugby Tournament at All People’s Life Center on Jan. 13-15. 

This international tournament, drawing teams from all over the world, will feature Tampa’s very own wheelchair rugby team, the Tampa Generals.

Tampa, FL -- The Outback Bowl parade is set for New Year's Eve in Ybor City.

This year's parade is expected to feature 20 marching bands, cheerleaders and a host of floats.

The parade starts at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 and runs along 7th Avenue.

Hillsborough County, FL -- This holiday season, parents can transform their children’s winter break blues into excitement by offering children what they crave – fun and engaging activities that will keep their minds and bodies active.

Winter break camp days through the Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department will be offered Dec. 28 - 30 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. at various Hillsborough County recreation centers.

The weekly rate is $38, and reduced rates of $30 and $20 per week are available with a current school reduced or free lunch letter.

Ready to get your ride on? Get your motorcycle license in just hours.  A Tampa area motorcycle school is offering classes this weekend from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Florida Fairgrounds.  You can earn your Florida Motorcycle license in just one weekend.

Tampa Motorcycle Training, Inc. offers a Florida accredited motorcycle training course and after you complete the basic riders course, you will be qualified to receive your Florida Motorcycle Driver’s License.

Apollo Beach, Florida - Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation is now offering the Rec2Six program for children grades K - 5.

It is offered Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at 18 recreation centers throughout Hillsborough County.

YMCA offers free classes during Family Health Month

YMCA offers free classes during Family Health Month

In celebration of National Family Health Month, the YMCA is offering free classes on the weekends during the month of October.

You can hit the pool, work up a sweat at their fitness center or take the kids to any of the Y's programs for no cost.

If you swing by the YMCA this month you can get an extra three day guest pass and if you decide to become a member, the club will waive the fees if you make a canned good donation.

Tampa, FL -- Tickets to the 2012 Outback Bowl go on sale to the general public through Ticketmaster this Saturday, October 1 at 10 a.m. The bowl will play host to teams from the Big Ten Conference and Southeastern Conference on Monday, Jan. 2 in Raymond James Stadium. 

Kick-off time is 1 p.m. ET.

Tickets to the game are $75 each (plus Ticketmaster service charge).  Phone orders can be placed with a credit card by calling Ticketmaster at (813) 287-8844 or 1-800-745-3000 and can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com.  Tickets can also be purchased at any Ticketmaster outlet in the state of Florida.
